Our services

We provide safe, reliable, and friendly public transportation for everyone! Do you need a ride to work, the grocery store, doctor appointments or just to visit a friend? GoBus will pick you up at your home or specified location and take you to the destination of your choice. 

Trips are reservation based and must be made at least 24 hours in advance and are first come, first served, based on availability.

$2 each one-way trip

$1 each additional stop

Active military and veterans ride free! 


Fare is due upon boarding the bus, please have exact change. We accept cash, check, or credit card.

Customers may also purchase a reloadable GoPass from their driver for multiple trips.

Service Expansion - Rural Areas Surrounding Longview

Partnering with Longview Transit, GoBus complements existing services and expands accessibility. Within the Longview urbanized area, GoBus serves White Oak, Gladewater, Hallsville, and Lakeport. 


Individuals in these locations can ride within each city or to and from Longview Monday - Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

Out of county service to Tyler is on Thursdays. Approximate arrival time into Tyler is 10 AM and departure is 2 PM.

Longview City Limits

Longview Transit is the designated urban (city) public transportation provider in the Longview area offering fixed route transportation. GoBus does not provide service originating in the city limits of Longview.

What to expect on the day of your trip?

  • Be ready two hours before your scheduled drop off time. (If you need to be at your destination by 10 a.m., be ready at 8 a.m.)
  • When the driver arrives they will wait 5 minutes for you to come outside and board the bus.
  • When you are ready for a return pickup call GoBus and they will pick you up within an hour.
  • There will be other passengers on board because GoBus is a shared-ride service.
  • When traveling into the urbanized areas of Tyler on Tuesday, be sure to schedule appointments after 10 a.m. and be ready to leave by 2 p.m.

Accessibility & Safety

Our vehicles are wheelchair accessible and GoBus drivers are trained in securing mobility devices. We integrate passenger assistance, safety and sensitivity (PASS) training and our drivers are DOT certified.
