Transportation Development & Compliance Manager

Preston Garcia is relatively new to the public transit industry, having joined in March of 2021 as a Data Analyst. He has spearheaded significant improvements across the organization, in areas such as maintenance, compliance, safety, non-emergency medical transportation, and business development. Preston's dedication is evident through his certifications as a Safety and Security Officer from CTAA, and an instructor for customer service, Make a Great Impression on the Customer (MAGIC).

Preston holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Louisiana State University at Alexandria and an MBA from Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi. He also has several years of experience in marketing and data analysis from the private sector. In 2023, he was awarded the Rising Star Award from the Texas Transit Association for innovative approaches as a young professional.

Being a native of East Texas, Preston is proud to be part of an organization providing vital resources to the 14 counties GoBus Transit currently serves. He strongly believes in finding solutions to problems and has successfully developed and implemented processes to ensure compliance in all areas of GoBus operations. Through his efforts, he has also established fruitful relationships with cities, counties, and other organizations, leading to expanded services in the region.
