  • What are your business hours?

    GoBus provides daily local service Monday - Friday from 6:30 AM  - 5:30 PM. 


    We serve Anderson, Camp, Cherokee, Harrison, Henderson, Marion, Panola, Rains, Rusk, Upshur, Van Zandt, and Wood Counties and the non-urbanized areas of Gregg and Smith Counties. 

  • How much will my trip cost?

    $2 each one-way trip

    $1 each additional stop


    For example: 

    • Pickup and transport to a location - $2
    • Pickup from that location and taking you home - $2
    • Any additional stops - $1 each

    Active military and veterans ride free! 


    Fare is due upon boarding the bus, please have exact change. We accept cash, check, or credit card. Customers may also purchase a re-loadable GoPass for multiple trips.

  • Is GoBus just for seniors or disabled?

    No, GoBus offers public transportation for everyone in our service area. 


    Do you need a ride to work, the grocery store, doctor appointments or just to visit a friend? GoBus will pick you up at your home or specified location and take you to the destination of your choice. 

  • Where does GoBus travel?

    GoBus provides daily local service within Anderson, Camp, Cherokee, Harrison, Henderson, Marion, Panola, Rains, Rusk, Upshur, Van Zandt, and Wood Counties and the non-urbanized areas of Gregg and Smith Counties. 


    We offer trips from the rural areas into the urbanized areas of Longview or Tyler on Tuesdays & Thursdays. See our County Service Schedule. 

  • How do I book a trip?

    Book a trip by calling 1-800-590-3371 or Request a Trip online


    Trips are reservation based and must be made at least 24 hours in advance and are first come, first served, based on availability.

  • What information will dispatch want from me to book a trip?

    You can book your trip in 3 easy steps!

    1. Know where and when you want to travel.  24-hour advance notice required. Trip requests accepted up to two weeks in advance.
    2. Know the addresses of your destinations when you call.
    3. Call our office to schedule your trip!  There is a short intake process for first time riders.

  • What if I need to cancel?

    Please contact our dispatch office as soon as you know you need to cancel by calling 1-800-590-3371. 


    No shows negatively affect our routes and other passengers. Repeat offenders will no longer be allowed to use GoBus services. 

  • What should I expect the day of my trip?

    • Be ready two hours before your scheduled drop off time. (if you need to be at your destination by 10 a.m., be ready at 8 a.m.
    • When the driver arrives they will wait 5 minutes for you to come outside and board the bus.
    • When you are ready for a return pickup call GoBus and they will pick you up within an hour.
    • There will be other passengers on board because GoBus is a shared-ride service.
    • When traveling into the urbanized areas of Longview or Tyler on Tuesday or Thursday, be sure to schedule appointments after 10 a.m. and be ready to leave by 2 p.m.
  • Do you offer services for Tyler and Longview?

    GoBus offers trips from rural areas into the urbanized areas of Tyler and Longview on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

  • Do you allow services animals?

    GoBus allows services animals on board as long as they are under the control of the owner.
